Ceiling divider strips

Anyone replaced those ceiling panel divider strips and if so with what and how hard was it

The "divider strips" are nothing more than vinyl wrapped whitewood (or plastic) and are held in place by several 23 ga staples or brads. They will pull right off the ceiling and can easily be replaced. If they do fall or become loose, a touch of silicone sealant or wood glue will tack them back in place if you don't have access to a staple/brad gun.

Is there a way to replace the covering material without removing the strips. Mine appear to be wood stapled to ceiling and then some sort of matching cover is simply trapped under the edges. No staples directly thru material mine is peeling and appears to be common problem but I hate to take back to dealer to fix.

There are basically two types of ceiling trim. It's called batten trim, first type is just like John described. Flat piece of wood with a glued on trim tape.

The other type is a plastic with raised center that pushes into a track at the seams on the ceiling.

Peeling is quite common to many different brands, if your unit is under warranty I would take it in. Replacement batten comes in 8' lengths so it will have to be trimmed to fit.

Most of my divider strips were just replaced under warranty for the "coating" peeling off. I think the heat of the campers closed up at the dealers is causing this because we seen quite a few new ones that way.
