How Many People Does It Take To Post In A Thread About Changing A Light Bulb?
A friend sent this to me and I immediately thought about some of the recent threads on this forum..... If you see yourself in any category (or maybe in multiple categories), know that you're "normal", at least in a "forum kind of way" ...
This is the legit way threads work Too funny to not share and too true.
Q: How many people does it take to change a lightbulb on the Keystone RV Forum?
1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently.
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs
6 to argue over whether it's 'lightbulb' or 'light bulb'
Another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is 'lamp'
15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that 'light bulb' is perfectly correct
19 to post that this page is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a light bulb page
11 to defend the posting to this page saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant here
36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty
5 People to post pics of their own light bulbs
15 people to complain about other people being judgemental for the way in which they change their light bulbs
5 to correct "judgemental" in the previous category, stating it's "judgmental"
7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
5 to post to the page that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy
4 to say "Didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
13 to say "Do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs"
1 to bring politics into the discussion by adding that (insert politician of choice) isn't the brightest bulb.
4 more to get into personal attacks over their political views.
5 people to get sidetracked on a discussion about bacon and coffee and how the only reason we need light bulbs is that we can see them to cook them
1 admin to ban the light bulb posters for inserting political discussion and close the thread.

We only change our lightbulbs (light bulbs) AFTER we arrive at our destination. We never travel with full light bulbs. (Insert face palm and smiley face here)

I was going to mention to make sure to check the weight of the new light bulb vs. the old and ensure you are not exceeding the carrying capacity of your tow vehicle. Because then oh boy here we go.

John:
Since I am a recovering victim of Forum Consensus Burnout (FCB), that was painful to read and triggered memories of past threads that induced a rare version of Forum PTSD (FPTSD) and a temporary (hopefully) affliction of Tourette’s Syndrome. I’m a sensitive guy.
Thanks...

Manny,
Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, think about serene landscapes with flowers blooming.....
If that won't work, a double shot of Dewar's 15 white label might help..... Straight up, no ice and "feel the mellow burn"........

It's because your tow vehicle does not have enough payload capacity. The excessive sag in the rear of the truck/front of the trailer is causing the visible light being emitted from the bulb to concentrate in one area instead of spreading out as it should. My suggestion is to get a heavy duty set of air bags or trade the truck for a F-450 Dually which should be quite capable of bringing the front of the trailer back to level.
Well, that didn't work out. One of the mods must have moved a legitimate question that was posted in this funny/joke thread. So if any of you are wondering why I posted what I posted, that is why!
