Elkhart, IN Trip

I will be having Disc Brakes & Independent Suspension installed on my Montana on June 20 & 21, 2018. Looking for recommendations on nice campground to stay a couple of days before and after install close to MORryde Industries. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Not exactly sure where MORryde is located in Elkhart. We stayed at the Elkhart Campground (looked to be a former KOA); just off the interstate and convenient to shopping in town. Good internet and laundry facilities. Quiet. Lots of stuff for the kids to do (if you have any).

Here's a Google maps link, which also provides their web site.

Uh, how are you going to stay in the Montana if it is in the shop for 2 days?
Just askin'.

I second Elkhart Campground. Quiet, close to "stuff to do" about 1.5 miles from the RV museum, 20 miles from Keystone headquarters (factory tours), there's a couple of RV Salvage/outlet warehouses within a mile or two (great for looking even if not buying) and shopping is convenient.

If you're staying a couple days before and after, look into the weekly rate, even with 2 days at Mor-ryde, it may be cheaper to rent by the week.

Don't forget a day at Shipshewana, the world's biggest flea market. It's about 25 miles east of the campground.

MorRyde allows you to stay in your rv while it's in their shop, you get a key & can come & go.
I don't have the IS (lack of funds), but did get the Titan disc brakes a year ago this past Nov & WOW what a night/day difference in stopping, I can actually feel the 5er slowing me & lowered the brake controller setting in 1/2. Money well spent!
From talking with fellow Redwood owners that have done this upgrade they claim they can leave a cup of coffee on the bar & it will be sitting in the same spot after traveling all day.
Elkhart campground is nice enough, Shipshewana has a couple nice parks, there's a decent KOA in Howe.

It read "to stay in "Before" and "After" the install?

I told by Rob the sales manager at MORryde that you can stay in Montana at night while at their facility. They have 50 AMP service just no sewer. Probably won't be staying in Montana during the day while they install the IS and DIsc Brakes.

Thanks for the suggestions for RV Parks for my trip to Elkhart in June 2018. We have finalized everything and can't wait to get the Independent Suspension and Disc Brakes installed. We plan to break out next year on some longer road trips which will include some mountain driving so I hope the disc brake upgrade & IS will be worth the dollars spent.
