2018 Carbon 35
Hi everyone.. back on May 15th my 2007 Timberland RPM FBS26 was totalled. We made the mistake some made and bought inexpensive when we should have bought what we really wanted. We're replacing it with a 2018 Carbon 35 we found in excellent condition and at a great price. In the year we owned the Timberland we spent around 50 days out on the road all over Texas. This time we bought a toy hauler that ticks every single box except 2 .. outdoor kitchen (would have been nice but not a deal breaker) and a shower big enough for 3 😁. Looking forward to making new memories with the wife, girlfriend and the kids.

Thanks .. I've been going through the forums this morning and found either answers to or something that lead me to the answers of most of my questions. Still trying to figure out how to run the wires for my solar panels since it doesn't have solar prep.

Look at where the fridge is. You can run the wires down through the vent, and then into the underbelly, or into a cabinet to get to the controller.
I have also opened up walls and drilled from the inside to run wires, using a plate on the roof.

Easy to figure out really, we have a great relationship going on, 21 years with my wife and our girlfriend has been with us for 3 years now. My wife and I's kids are grown. Our girlfriend's kids are 6 and 8, we also have custody of our 9 year old niece, 7 year old nephew and 18 year old special needs nephew. The house is never quiet, but its full of love. Making sure two women are happy and both feel special isn't always easy but it's worth it and we wouldn't change anything

The outside kitchen is tough to get on a toy hauler, you have to take away from something inside for the required space. In most cases that would mean a smaller garage which is not ideal for most people who buy THs. It’s easy to remedy, a Camp Chef or Blackstone tends to be much more useful than the small stove in an outside kitchen anyway. My 5er never had outside quick disconnects so I always had to travel with extra LP tanks or pull one from the RV. This year I added two LP quick connects, one for my Camp Chef and one for the grill. In 10 years, we’ve never cooked inside the RV, having a nice kitchen setup outside is important to us.
