access to black tank drain valve

Valve must have come disconnected from the cable & is open slightly.
Where can I get to it?
On our way to Billings from Spearfish, leaving in the AM.

Had this happen in our 5th and had to cut open the underbelly to access the black tank.

If you do find that you need to cut an opening in your coroplast underbelly, cut a 3 sided flap with the hinge at the forward part of the opening. That way you can close it, tape it with Gorilla tape and it'll probably never come loose until you have to pull the tape to open the flap again.

Before you get too far away from civilization, you might try to get a mobile RV tech to come out and fix that. If you are at a park, ask for a referral. If you have an RV store nearby, the second best thing would be a Valterra Twist On valve, that way you still have the ability to drain your tank when you want to. https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&ke...imuvp3ht_e_p38

OK thanks! Still at Spearfish, but will be going to Billings today. Looks like 3 Keystone dealers in the Billings area hoping for a mobile tech to come & do the repair at the KOA there. It's still under warranty.

Off topic, spearfish KOA was one of our favorites. The crafting room was amazing and the DW and her sister spent a lot of time/Money there.

Check out Metra RV in Billings Mt. I was there in May with a bad slide cylinder and they did a good job.

If still under warranty, call your dealer to see if they have a contact in Billing’s. They may be able to set something up with a dealer there for the repairs.

I'll do that too. For now it doesn't matter that much I just need it fixed. If I was at home I'd tear into it.

Have a guy by the name of Jeremiah coming over in a bit to take a look & hopefully fix.
One place I called never called back, another was a week & a half behind.

Well he changed the valve, didn't see anything wrong with the old one, but the new one moves a lot easier. We'll see how it goes.
