Battery Disconnect switch

Cougar 303RLS. Can I get a clarification on the position of the battery disconnect switch. Obvious ON/Off postions but I am not sure which one disconnects the battery draw. The Leveling system jacks are not effected in either position but where it is parked I can't get the door open to check inside. Which position is the one that turns off the 12V? Off would make sense to me but it could also mean the disconnect is turned off and therefore 12V is on......... Would like to clarify as it is going to sit for a few weeks.

The disconnect switch does not DOES NOT completely Disconnect the 12 Volts from the batteries, even in the off position. You would have to install a manual disconnect switch or else disconnect a battery cable.

Mine is a push in, pull out switch.
Push in, battery except parasitic drains, is disconnected.
Pull out, battery is connected.

"Off" most of the 12 volts is disconnected, but not enough that your battery will still be dead in about a week+/-. By disconnecting the battery, rewiring the existing disconnect or adding another disconnect is the only 100% sure way of not having dead batteries.

The on position means the 12v is connected, the off position means the 12v is removed from the rig except for smoke detectors, carbon-monoxide detectors, leveling jacks and a few other things. If yoiu can remove the key the 12v is removed.

Yeah it's kind of a double negative thing. They need to take a technical writing class.
Just think "BATTERY", on or off.
