Hi From Oregon Coast

We purchased a slightly used 2012 Bullet 284RLS last month and we are really happy with it so far. Going on the maiden voyage in a couple of weeks.

We're retired, have a fur child (mini schnauzer) and are looking forward to using this RV to stay in for extended periods, though not full time.

We've owned quite a variety of RV's over the years, from a pickup camper, half dozen TT's, two motor homes (one piece of junk C and one nice 33" A) and one 5er.

Found and joined up here last week. I've learned that forums can be a wonderful source of information and humor so hopefully I will be to add to the conversations here and I'm sure I will also pick helpful info also.

Richard

Richard -

We're always looking for new, fresh ideas and I'm sure with your experience you have just a few. When you get back from your maiden voyage, let us know how you made out and; in the meantime, join in whenever you find something of interest.

Some of our members get a little crazy at times but it's all in good fun and helps keep the forum from getting too serious.

Welcome to the group.

Welcome from another new guy here. You live in some beautiful country. We were out there two years ago for a wedding in Portland.

In 2004 we took our grandsons and followed the route of Lewis and Clark. We made it as far as Missoula, Montana then headed south to Yellowstone. Two years ago while there we went to Richland, Wash. and finished that part of the route to Ft. Clatsop. They have done a beautiful job at the fort. Multnomah falls is fantastic.

Welcome Richard,
We have a trip planned down the Oregon Coast in June hitting the State Parks along the way and will be staying at Jessie Honeyman. You have some Great choices for camping in your area. Enjoy and Welcome to the Neighborhood.

Thanks for the welcome folks. We do like it here on the coast. Lots of things to do. Got the sand dunes, and the fishing and crabbing. We do have to put up with the rain though . Just makes us appreciate the good weather when it shows up.

Welcome from the Willamette Valley (pronounced - Will-LAM-met not willa-met-tee) ;-)
Oregon is a great place to camp and it will take a lifetime to hit all the great spots. Hope your camping is safe and scenic!!

Happy camping!
