Leaking Front Window - Cougar 22MLS

Our 2022 Cougar 22MLS has a leak that is coming from the front window. The water finds its way into the interior at the bottom of the closet and drips on our mattress.
I have removed the black rubber trim gasket to inspect it. There is a tract that has another rubber seal under it. I didn't want to pull the 2nd rubber seal because it appears it would not be possible to reinstall it. I purchased a tube of sealant from the local RV dealership but wondered if I'm wasting my time if the repair requires a full removal of the window to reseal it. Any thoughts on this? Would it be covered under the warranty?

On our Cougar, the water was not entering around the windshield, but, where the LED lightstrip wire enters the cap. There was a big gap and some extra sealant fixed it. Many people on another Cougar page had the same issue and this fix resolved it for them as well.
