Hose for grill too short

Took my grill out for first time and hooked it up, you basically have too have the grill mount cliped in bracketfor the hose to reach. I would think you would want to swing it all the way out but not with such a short hose. My hookup is directly in the middle on the trailer in the rear. So either need a longer hose or take some pipe out underneath. What do you guys think I should do?
And its on a 2012 Cougar xlite 24rls.

I'd just get a longer hose or an extension. Depending on the fittings, you might have to go to a welding supply shop and have them make up what you need.

Does anyone know where you can get a longer hose with the quick disconnect style fittings? Maybe online or something, its got that style on the grill and camper so wouldn't want to change them.

When I picked up mine last month the walk through guy said he'd seen poor set ups from keystone a couple of times with short hoses.

Youcan get propane hoses in almost any length you need. The QCs are removable and you may have to get the properfittings to attach them to your hose. Do a search on this. There have been numerous threads and responses on this, many by me including photos, so I'm not going to repeat them. Don't try to bother with extensions, make up a new hose,and by all meands don't get it done at a welding shop.

Same issue on my Keystone. Went to the local propane supply shop and they made me 1 approx. 1ft longer. Wasn't to expensive, slighty more than if I bought all the stuff myself.

In WA I have a Cenex CO-OP that sells all that stuff, maybe you have a place like that? Online for sure you will be able to find everything you need. I would get a longer hose.

arcticcatred, Howdy;

Go to your local propane dealer. If they can't help you they should be able to point you in the proper direction.
One instance where it pays to leave it to the experts. Also safer.
