Manual tongue jack maintenance?

What maintenance are we supposed to do on manual tongue jacks? Mine seems to be getting stiff.

Basically, you take them apart and grease them up. At least some of them can be disassembled, but the greasing up part is the same.

I did a google search on trailer tongue jack maintenance and got lots of good hits. One of the better ones is this: http://axwoodlibrary.com/trailer-jac...ce-and-repair/

There were several other good ones plus a lot of good videos on youtube.

Also, if you know the brand and model which is probably stamped into the metal of the jack, then you can check the manufacturers web site for a manual if you don't already have one (which hopefully you have read if you have it.) I know for sure that Atwood has that info available on their site.
