plumbing question - kitchen faucet

2013 Fusion 342- have great water pressure and volume at all faucets except kitchen sink. No difference in performance whether on city water or pump/hot or cold - no change. I'm thinking obstruction in kitchen supply. Any ideas or suggestions where to start?

This a recent change, started to notice about a week ago. Nothing new added or removed from water system.

You might want to start by removing, examining and cleaning if necessary, the fine mesh screen at the end of the faucet. Try that first and see what, if any, improvement you notice. Get back to us with your results. Good luck.

Thanks Festus- everything is clear or clean downstream from the valve. I guess the next step will be to disconnect the faucet and check the flow rate at the PEX pipes.

Smile Flow problem

Really, Most people don't know but it is made to save water, the kitchen faucet uses most of the water than anything else on the trailer or home. you can drill out the brass hole that feeds the head when you disassemble the faucet, this problem is true on all kitchen faucets that you buy today,

Thanks for your input Drewsa. I'm fully aware of water flow restrictions. You must have missed that my woes are due to a recent change flow volume.

For everybody else, there is good volume and pressure from the PEX pipe. Spoke to a buddy that recommended backflushing the faucet lines. Stated most likely from debris (mineral deposits) from hot water heater was source of problem.

I was convinced the water pump in our old pop-up was shot. That was until I took off the aerator and cleaned it out. After that everything was back to normal.

Smile water flow

you stated that the pex checked out ok, on single lever faucets their is sometimes a screen behind the lever, open and check their. dirt or even some saw dust can make a difference.
