Stage one of Garage remodel Fuzion 403
Step by step we are remodeling the garage on our 2009 403 to be additional living area as well as accommodate the bikes.
Making the lower bed useable as a seating area was first. I used the existing cushions by remounting the existing hardware to have both a big seat and big seat back. THe two smaller bed cushions simply slip back into place if the full bed is needed. (It is not a need for us)
The Closet bar easily comes out when we are ready to bring bikes in. The cloths and the bar store on top of the lower bed , which of course is lifted, when the bikes are in the back.
The closet bar is supported by pins that slide thru holes I drilled in the Bed support rails. Pull the pins and the bar rises up and down with the lower bed. Or, take the bar out completely.
We now have a large comfortable area to suit up or stretch out.
