Satellite Receiver Location
Has anybody come up with a good location for placing their satellite receiver boxes? Would love to see pictures! My Main TV sits at waste level above the electric fireplace. The entertainment wall as I like to call it isn't very deep. The TV takes up the entire alcove that it hangs in. For now I just have it sitting on the floor with all the wires running every which way.

I use the small HD box Model: H25-500. It is HD and VERY small and works perfect for what we need it for. These boxes also have mounts that you can use to mount it sideways or even behind the TV using one of these http://www.ebay.com/bhp/direct-tv-h25-500 and a dongle to make your remote work DIRECTV H25RFANT RF Remote Dongle Adapter for the H25 http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp...ce=google_base. Hope this helps.

I know exactly what your saying about no room for DSS receiver, originally I mounted mine underneath the cabinet above the TV using some angle brackets, painted black to match the receiver(dish 211k) of course, it got warm enough that I unplugged at night to be safe. I purchased a couple of drawer slides from a hardware store, painted em black and attached em to the receiver, this has worked excellent! The receiver can breath when camped and when its time to go slid back in and secured with a small bungy chord. Its mounted to just clear my slide when retracted.

As far as I can tell the Carryout can only see The 119 101 satellites. I don’t think that the HD programing is coming from either of them. ( I may be wrong, I am a DISH Retailer not Direct ) With that in mind the answer would be no the Carryout can’t get any HD for now on Direct. Not the cast for dish though.
