Fuzion hot water tank

So with our old outback TH there was a switch on which you could choose either electric or LP to be the heating sorce. Now with the fuzion I'm still not quite getting it? There's the on switch at the heater panel outside and I found out quickly enough that as soon as you turn it on the electric element kicks in, thankfully I didn't have the rod in there quite tight enough and when I noticed there was leaking pressure and WARM I quickly shut it off and finished flushing the system and proceeded to fill the HW tank before switching it on again.
Now there is a switch in the bathroom which will kick in the LP heater but my question is will the electric one always be on after flicking the switch in the outside panel? With the Outback you'd switch it on and then inside there'd be an electric/off/LP switch.

If the outside switch is on, you will be heating by electric if on 110volt power. The electric part of the hot water heater should be 110volt.
