hooking up generator to 2011 324rlb

any suggestion on how and where to hook up generator other than at the back on the pull out rack. would like to place where the batteries go but I do not see a place to hook 120v generator up to just the 12v system and wireliess mechanism

Ianmcneil,

to the forum and I would guess to Keystone RVing. It's difficult to even begin to suggest how to "hookup your generator" when we have no idea what kind of RV, that size of generator, what type of hookup and the host of other information needed to even begin to visualize what you're talking about.

If you're interested in doing some research, use the search feature in the blue bar at the top of every forum webpage to locate information about generator use, installation, and operation.

Again, welcome to the forum and I hope you find the information you're looking for. Give us more data on what you have and what you're trying to do and you may get some great suggestions to help.

I am guessing you mean cougar 324rlb is that a 5th wheel ?Before we go a toyhauler that already has a generator on it ,I used to run the power cord up thru the hole in the front basement storage and hook it in the outlet in there, just worked ok for me.

I put my generator on the pull out rack once.....Then I saw a video on YouTube of bikes on that rack! There is ALOT of bouncing going on back there. Now the Honda resides in the back of the truck and we have a 30' 30a extension cord to reach the shore power cord.
