Mounting TV passport 3320bh

Bought a 2015 Passport 3320bh last October and just got it out of storage to prep for the upcoming season. I was wondering where to mount a small 19"lcd TV bracket to, on the rear wall of the bunkhouse of the trailer. All that I could find is the aluminum frame strut in the wall above the wardrobe. The rest of the area feels hollow. I mounted a TV bracket in the front bedroom and there was a large piece of wood in the wall. I thought there would be a similar wooden backing in the bunkhouse as there's a power outlet and tv jack in the wardrobe and a hole in the top of the wardrobe to run the cables through.

I would just set the tv on top of the wardrobe and lay it on the bunk when traveling. That is what we do with our bunkhouse it it works just fine.

^We do the same in our 3220. I don't want to have to remove the TV from a mount whenever travel but I don't trust the wall to support a TV en route.

Same as we do. Goes in the house in the winter so one of the offspring can use it.

^ Same as everyone else. I have considered also mounting an articulating type of TV mount to the side of the wardrobe. A piece of plywood on the inside of the cabinet wall would reinforce it. It's difficult to have a single TV for both sides of the bunkhouse and having one that swivels from the side + the one on top would help on the rainy days.

I mounted mine 4 seasons ago. Lots of trips later no issues.

Mine has something there. It is solid as can be.

Your hookups are in the ceiling? Mine are inside the cabinet. Did you mount to a wall stud or do you know if there's a board for this purpose in the wall?

Yep, came with them in the ceiling. I can't tell you what is behind there. It is not hollow above my cabinet in that spot. The place where I purchased my trailer said they had installed TVs in that spot for other customers but wanted way to much to do it, so I did it myself. As I recall if you look in the cabinet there are screws for attaching each self and the cabinet itself to the wall. If you follow those up it is solid. It is most likely one of the framing beams.

Interesting - I'll have to double-check mine. Do you recall what length screws you used to secure the mount to the wall?
