Outback Kitchen Struts

Hey ya'll,

I've got a 2014 Outback 323BH. Was wondering if anyone else has replaced their gas struts (gas struts don't last very long in Alaska) and what they replaced them with? I'm thinking about going up to 100 lb instead of 80 lbs to provide a little more tension when it's up...

Thanks in advance,
Doug
