Awesome shot! It wouldn't be the same without the orange cone, either.

Look close......can you see her?

We didn’t at the time of the photo. It wasn’t till we got home and I was reviewing them that I noticed that she was watching us watch her cubs....

Maybe 8 to 10 feet away.

Wild wonderful West Virginia!

Beautiful pictures. We're headed in the spring to Utah and Arizona to run the Grand circle including Zion NP, Grand Canyon, and Mesa Verde. Can't wait. I lived in AZ over a decade ago for about 1 year and never made the commitment to visit these parks. Making up for it now. Planning 26 days of travel.

Came across a old cemetery down a old logging trail upstate NY in the middle of nowhere.
Note the haze coming from the ground.

You really can't go wrong with the grand circle tour. As a suggestion, the Ute Tribal Park is a "must see". The park practically surrounds Mesa Verde and has not been "restored". You'll see pottery, corn cobs, sandals and other artifacts plus hear a rich and authentic history of the Hopi, Navajo and Ute tribes (try to get Rick as your guide). See Mesa Verde for sure but don't miss the Ute Tribal Park.

We also found Hovenweep National Monument a worthwhile stop as well. Perfect for an afternoon/evening visit. I've attached a couple of photos.
