Vinyl weather stripping

In three years I have had to replace most of the vinyl stripping that covers the attachment screws at least twice. I realize that living in AZ doesn’t help but is there a better product than what comes from the manufacture?

To my knowledge the insert moulding only comes in 2 flavors, plastic and vinyl. The vinyl is much better and seems to last a lot longer.

You're in Arizona ?? Replacing the vinyl trim may be more a problem with "sun damage" than with "product quality".....

As Chuck said, it is available in an "upgraded vinyl". I'd suspect that in your area, the only type most dealers would carry is the "sun resistant" variety. But then, right now, dealers may be stocking whatever they can find from their suppliers....

That said, I would expect a good vinyl trim to last much longer than yours did.
