Happy jack beds

Hi we are out with friends in our new 2020 Impact 311. So far things are going well. We have found that the bottom bed that goes into the couch is very uncomfortable. The temporary fix was adding lots of blankets, just wondering what others have done to help with comfort, like a topper or something.

The other problem is that we have a quick connection for propane to use a outside stove. I connected it propane tanks are on and full but no propane is coming to the outside hose. Any thoughts.
Thanks
Kim

Can't help with the bed!
But the propane quick connect is on the downstream side of the rv regulator, meaning it's low pressure, if your stove or any other appliance you connect to has a regulator on it that regulator will need to be removed for the appliances to work.

Our dinette cushions aren’t very comfortable to sleep on so my daughter uses a therma rest slim backpacking mattress, which we already had, on top of the cushions.

We have a 2018 Impact when the Happy Jack bed. Was not satisfied because the bed was terrible. Keystone replaced, but really did not fix the problem. Now we take the too bed mattress off and put it on the bed and put a 3" memory foam mattress on top of that. If we need the top bed I inflate an air mattress to put on it.

Bottom line, not a very good set up.

I replaced my bedroom mattress and used it on the couch bed.

Did you open the valve at the end of the quick connect fitting for the propane?

We seldom use both beds, so we put a quality mattress on the top bed and pulled the stops out of the rails. So drop the top bed down to the bottom, low enough to not need a ladder.
