Poke a hole in the wall? 245RL
I have a 2010 Laredo 245RL 5er, and have been eyeballing how to run a 12vdc line from the batteries (front compartment) into the front bed and put a 12vdc socket on the bed side (for CPAP). I hesitate to start puncturing the wall and/or floor around the battery area - has anyone done this? The DC wire bundles appear to run from the battery, down and under the coroplast directly to the power panel in the kitchen, as I would expect, which means they don't enter the trailer interior until mid-way back.

You can run another 12v line from the batteries thru a fuse up thru the floor to the side of the bed. Just silicone the hole from the floor to the front storage. I ran an inverter this way, no issues.

You could "measure carefully" from under the bed, directly over the front compartment, drill a small hole "inside the bed storage area" and run the wiring up through that hole, along the edge of the inside of the bed frame, to the area you want to place the 12 VDC socket. Once it's installed, seal all the holes with silicone. If you do this, be sure to protect the 12 VDC socket inside the bed so nothing gets "jammed" against it during use or during towing. A plastic "work box" would probably be all you'd need to cover the "innerds".

The only caution I would add is make sure wire gauge and 12V socket are rated to handle the draw.

which is exactly why I want to come off the battery or very near it, and go directly (via fuse or cb) to my CPAP outlet.

All of the above +... 1 !
Use self resetting circuit breaker rated for the amps you will be drawing. You don't want to be fumbling around with a fuse, half asleep. Probably a good idea to test it's reliability for several hours before trusting it. Grab a good book and take it for a test drive, before needed.
Good Luck,
