2017 Montana thermostat question

2017 Montana 3820 FK. Our home thermostat works so that once the temperature is reached, the blower and heater shut down, until needed again. On the RV, the fan just runs and runs all day and night, if I let it. The heat portion goes on and off, but the fan continues. I am plugged into my shop. If this is normal, I can't see how you could use it on battery power. It would draw down the batteries in no time. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

It is a touch screen thermostat. There is no auto like the one at home.

Has high and low settings. Going to pull out the manuals. Must be something I'm missing.
