2013 High Country 343RL

My HC 343RL has the cable slides. It seems like the bottom of the slides does not go out all of the way, like there is maybe a 1/2" difference in the top and the bottom. Has anybody else had this problem, or have a fix for it? It would not be so bad, but here in western WY, below freezing, and windy, it tends to make a difference.

Cables stretch and may need adjustment. If you go to the slide manufacturers web site (I think Lippert or Bal) you can download instructions and manuals if you did not get them with the trailer. You may still be under warranty???? Keep warm and travel safely, Hank

Go to this site, you will find all the information you need regarding the cables.

http://www.norcoind.com/bal/products...de/index.shtml

You probably need to adjust the cables.

I have a 2010 HC 291RLS equipped with cables.

If you measure the space between the inside wall and the slide when the slide is out, the distance should be equal at the top and the bottom.

When the slide is in, it should be tight all around against the outside wall.

Hope it's oK
