2016 impact 361

hi i have a 2016 impact 361 the front bedroom tv scans and picks up all my local channels living area picks up some but not as many and the garage scans but never finds any channels i cannot find a amplifier button i pulled the wall plates to check connections all tight does anyone know where the splitter might be, thanks

First keep looking for the amp. Button is located on a standard face plate some time accompanied by a coaxial male connector and/or a 12 VDC cigarette lighter plug. You will eventually find it look everywhere, have been found in cabinets, closets etc.

Sounds like you have no connection in the garage. Besides tight I would go through all connections again taking each apart and making sure that center conductor is long enough and not shorted against the outside of the actual plug (shield). While doing that I would check cotinuity of each cable and sketch up a diagram where each cable goes.

Can do a search on the forum to see examples of the different wiring layouts and pictures of what these face plates look like

the button on my Fuzion is in one of the cabinets above the master bed.

Seems quite a few of them lately are in a cabinet above the bed. Mine happens to be on the wall up under the bottom of the living room TV. You can't see it without getting down on your knees.
