Passport Elite 19RB Owners

Just purchased this TT. It is our first trailer and we are excited to get going. I am a little nervous about towing but I bought a Blue Ox WD hitch / sway control. I am hoping other owners of this model will post in this thread.

I will post details about this TT as I learn them.

Nice looking rig. Enjoy making memories. While we may not have the same TT much of the information will still apply.

Well our first trip of about 100 miles went great. Had to tow in traffic and heavy rain first time out but the TT + TV handled great. Nice visit to Venice Florida, with a nice excursion to Myakka River State Park.

Next trip to Ormond Beach in November. Can't wait.

Re: Passport Elite 19RB Owners

Glad you had a good 1st trip. If you don't already, you may want to consider putting that door entry handle to the front instead of the rear. It can help secure the door in the event something goes wrong.

Regarding furnace operation

I also have the Elite 19rb. Seeing you live in Florida you probably haven't used the furnace in the trailer much. I live in Central Indiana so I have used mine on several occasions. The issue I have is the vent at the foot of the bed, there is little heat coming out when furnace is operating. Ducts are connected, just wondering if you have the same issue. Would like to hear from you

My Premier was basically the same trailer, we loved it, it would fit in almost any space so finding a campground was never a problem and put over 12,000 miles on that trailer (one cross country round trip) before we traded up, and really that was only because the grandkids needed more room. We never needed a sway system because of the spread axles, not sure it the Elite has that wide stance, but I'm sure you'll make many fond memories, as we sure did

Congratulations on your new camper. You'll get the hang of towing and using the camper.

I have been absent from this forum for awhile so sorry for the super late response. I bought a small space heater to supplement heat. Mostly to save on propane. I moved to Virginia recently and plan to do some fall camping. I will try out the propane and get back to you.
