Fuzion 301 against a F350...

Neither faired so well our 11 month old toy hauler is now written off.
Added: no one was seriously hurt and we had replacement insurance.

Very glad there were no injuries. That is always first priority. Trucks and trailers can be replaced. What is the back story here? How did it happen?

You should see what the buy back price is from the insurance. That frame ( if it's not damaged too bad) would make a excellent flat bed. Not to mention parting out the trailer, always a market for that stuff.

First of all, thank God no one was hurt.

I am, however, a bit jealous. I'd love for someone to total our new 404. A girl can dream....

Glad to hear that everyone is ok.

I agree, curious about the back story... Was it just a "simple" rear end collision?

It was raining we were turning left into the resort, it was on an S curve and there was a pretty big sign on the mountain on the right side. We didn't (yes both of us looked) see the F350, we had a dash cam as well and must of looked at it about 20 times and didn't even see his headlights. He hit us in the garage area. He said he was going about 100KM/H we think he was probably going faster.

That stinks. Hopefully your insurance will cover your losses so you can get a new coach.

Have you decided what you are getting next?

Scary for that other driver. I've lost quite a few friends, taken out while riding their motorcycles by "Left turners". Every one of them, it was the car drivers fault.

Be safe out there.

Considering how much damage there is to the ford - the camper held up better than I expected it would. Glad no one was hurt - shame on the camper being totaled.
