Roll "n" Rock Tandem Axel Wheel Jack

Has anyone ever used the Roll "n" Rock tandem axel wheel jack on a Montana High Country 5er to change a tire. You're supposed to be able to pull up or back up one of the tandem wheels onto the jack to raise the second wheel up off the ground enough to change the flat tire. Is this a proven technique or not?

Never used one but think it would only work on trailers with torsion bar suspension?

Not the best way to change a tire, it puts excess weight on one spring. I use a V block bottle jack on the axle, all you need to do is raise the wheel an inch or two. (safest way by far)

I've used a bottle jack on the axle wih a jack stand for added safety however I believe the manual states to put the bottle jack on the main steel beam just in front of or behind the spring hanger.
