Are you sure they are screws and not just debris?
Removing the ceiling in an RV isn't hard, but it isn't real easy if tour trying to save the panels. The trim across the ceiling is where the panel seams will be, so if your real careful with a plastic prybar you can remove the small nails holding things up. We use an 18g brad nailer on the panels and a 20g finish nailer on the trim when we install panels and trim.
