New 2014 300MP - Where is my sewer hose

Hi,

I am new to the forum. Recently took delivery of our first toy hauler, a 2014 300MP. Unfortunately, the walk through was terrible with the dealer and we were not shown many things. Does anyone know where i should find the sewer hose? I would not be surprised if the dealer failed to include one......assuming they are included...

Thanks

Our camper didn't come with one except for the cheap "welcome kit" the dealer gave us. Go buy a good one along with all the other stuff you'll need.

As a rule, RV's don't come with some of the essential things like:
sewer hose
Fresh water supply hose
Fittings for sewer hose
Water pressure regulator

Some of the higher end Class A motorhomes we sell come with a sewer hose, and of you spend like $300,000.00 you get a sewer hose and a fresh water hose.

I see you found that they are not included and the ones in the startup kits given some time FREE are worthless. Unless they have made changes in 2014 your next question will be okay where do I store this sewer hose(s). I have a 10 and a 15 foot sewer hose section. So far this single or combination has worked. They are some mods on this forum for adding sewer hose containers under the Raptor.

Welcome to the Forum and Congrats on your new Raptor. We are really happy with ours.

Be Safe and Happy Camping

Thank you very much. I was planning on using a 5" square vinyl post. Not sure if I will just keep in the storage bin or mount exernally.

I guess it depends on the the dealer. My local dealer furnished a sewer hose, electrical extension cord, 15 and 30 amp adapters, and fresh water hose. I could have saved $500.00 by buying from a dealer 100 miles away but really glad I didn't. RV's being subject to warranty work I am way better off.

That's right. Of all the different makes I've seen sold at our dealership only Pleasureway and Tiffen come with a sewer hose from the factory. Tiffen also sends a 50A-30A adaptor.

Mine had a black container under the left front corner. It was a double ended container that was all of 3feet long. Id have to actually be setting right on top of the sewer to be able to reach it with any hose that would fit in there. I took it off and mounted a 6 foot container of the same style in its place so now I have plenty of hose and it is very handy there. Its another one of those things that the manufacture did to cut cost on these things, why even bother with a 3 foot container!! I found that longer container at camping world but have since seen them at other RV dealers as well.

That sucks. You spend that much money on what is supposed to be a very fun and rewarding purchase. Good luck if you need any warranty work done!!

raineman, here is a link to some good reading material on storage for sewer hose(s). Pictures of my installation is included in this thread. As I stated my 8' mod holds my 10' and 15' Viper sewer hoses. Tight fit. Works great, thiinking about adding a second right under the fuel tank gauge

I know. It was a major disappointment to say the least. I actually had a very long discussion with the management at the dealer today. They are going to try to make things right. The water heater was just one preventable issue. They did a horrible prep and delivery on several fronts and management, so far, agrees they made this a horrible experience. I will find out more on Monday.
