LCI Leveling won't stay level

2017 Montana 3950BR 5th Wheel. Our leveling system seems to quickly come out of level. I see no evidence of oil leaks . Perhaps I am not operating it correctly. Also suspect that the extreme vibration of the clothes washer may be involved . After system is level I turm off power. Is this correct or am I supposed to leave it on? I hate leaving things powered up if I don't have to.

LCI “level up” hydraulic leveling control unit should shut off automatically after I think 5 minutes so you can leave it be or turn it off. If your losing level the first thing to look at is the surface your using. Is it solid or gravel/dirt.

If it’s gravel/dirt you may need to place pads under the jacks. If it’s pavement/concrete then you may have an issue.

No .. power on is nit required for your hyd level up system once level is achieved.

When you say lit if level is it..
.. Frt to back or side to side

Are the metal pads resting on something besides just concrete or gravel..

You will find your rig will stay level better if you use blocks of wood placed under neath the pads to provide a good base and also it shortens the length the hyd pistons need to extend.

The shorter the better

Have you checked level of RV with a level or use a phone app with a level and verify.

If you see no external leaks... and leak could be anywhere then if your sure level is not holding then perhaps you
May have an internal leak on one of the LG or check valves.

Mine sits from Nov to May and doesn’t loose level.. it’s also hyd.

Example of a nice base pad for your LG pads to rest on.

Thanks Chuckster57 and Chuck S . I have all 6 on Wooden 2x12×12 blocks. I have checked the system machinery in the battery compartment . No leaks there or at the 2 feet there. I will have to investigate how to access the rest. There is no evidence outside of a leak which I would expect to manifest itself if there is an internal leak . My wife just told me that when I leveled it up again on Sat that she felt it slip almost immediately. Could it be air in the system? If so is there a way to bleed it them? Side to side usually . I have checked level manually and it shows slightly out. My manual level is only 6 inches long , I will buy a longer one.

Hooked up the 5th wheel to my truck . And followed intructions . However my spouse wasnt ready for me to put in slides so I didn't get the slide cylinders purged . I did get a few bubbles in the reservoir by just purging the 6 stablizer legs. Thanks to all who helped . Jeremy

Let us know how the results work out.. if still having issues there is a very simple procedure to test and verify whether front LG has an internal leak. I’d check it when you get back home if still experiencing issues

Have had 4 of our 6 replaced due to leak through. This was on an added level up system on our Alpine and taken care of by Lippert. 3 replaced in Arizona and one in Minnesota.

I have also noticed when I am snowbirding and the camper is sitting level for an extended time (3 months) that it seems to go slightly off level. But maybe it's just my imagination. We are on gravel. I attribute it to some tiny amount of settling. The Lippert system will tell you how many tenths of a degree you are off level and for me it is usually 0.1 degree. If it was 0.2 degrees off I re-level the camper. I don't just press the 'autolevel' button, however, because this will result in a level camper about 2 inches or more higher than you started. I lower the rear jacks a couple of inches and then press autolevel, which results in the camper being about the same height as when you started.

Leveling system

We have a 2014 Raptor 384PK with the auto level system. I find that after sitting for 2-3weeks the trailer seems to list slightly to the driver's side. I just bump the legs on that side and relieve. Talking with many other Keystone owners over the past 3 years, this seems to be normal.

You can simply hit auto level and walk away.
