Keystone 2019 333Fks trailer awning issues

We had our awning out. No wind or snow or water. The right strut just snapped at the connection point. This caused the whole corner of the awning to collapse bending the arm. Anyone know of replacement parts? We are full time and I was told that I would have to drag it 2hrs to the dealer and then back again after parts were ordered.

You may be able to send the dealership photos of the damaged parts and the overall awning. They could (if they're willing) diagnose the problem and order parts based on your photos.

If they won't work with you, possibly your insurance company would consider a claim ???

You didn't give any indication of the brand or model of awning that's on your trailer, so providing links to the parts breakdown is not possible. However, you can always order a replacement side arm for your awning from the manufacturer (at your expense). Typically they range from $400-$1000 depending on the brand and style. I wouldn't recommend that expense if your awning is still in warranty and "should be repaired" by the manufacturer.

There are numbers on the roller tube and if it’s a Dometic product there are P/N stickers on the arms.

Hello Wrighstyle,
I’m checking to see if you got your awning fixed yet. We have the same RV I think and our awning tore sometime during our winter storage. The material itself tore away from the edging? If that makes any sense. It’s right above our door. Rest of awning looks fb ok. Trying to figure out how to fix this so it doesn’t go any further.
On another note, how do you like your RV? We bought he Sprinter about two years ago. May 2018. I did some checking and found out where the island is, the inside is totally empty! All that room for storage and not being used. I had a cabinet built in mine.
Let me know if interested and I’ll try to figure out how to post pictures.
