Smile Toy Hauler on the way

Hello, I have just purchased my first Toy hauler. I have a 2013 Keystone Raptor 395 LEV on the way. I bought this coach used & it was put into service on july 31 2013 so it is only 10 months old and it also came with a 5 year Platinum warranty which has 4 years left on it. We are very excited, however it is being shipped to me so I did not have a chance to do a PDI and go over all the functionality that these beasts have today, so I will undoubtedly have a few questions when it arrives on Monday. I will be towing this unit with my 2012 dodge diesel 3500 "not a dually".
So any advice from all you experienced Raptor owners is welcomed.

CONGRATS on your RAPTOR 395 ENJOY

I would suggest you take a PDI list and start going through it and documenting discrepancies/questions. Since you are on an extended warranty not sure what all will be covered or how close a dealer is to address your issues. A good working relationship with dealer will be an aid. My Raptor has been pretty rock solid and has met all of my expectations todate. Do not expect to find much documentation. We have a few Raptor owners in the Forum, feel free to ask questions. Glad to see you do not have a 1500 or 2500 TV A dually would give you more stability.

Be Safe and Happy Camping

Hello, I just purchased a 2013 395 LEV myself and I also tow with a Dodge, but 2013 2500 Short Bed. Do yourself a favor a put a set of air bags on your truck. The tongue weight on this unit is 3650 pound and it will cause your truck to squat. My Ram tows it like a champ but the air bags are very important. I have had no issues with my raptor and the size is amazing when it come to roominess. You will love the unit.enjoy

Tow Vehicle for Raptor 395

Hello. We have a 2013 Raptor 395 and initially towed it with a Ford F450 with a full airbag system. My husband felt it was still a little "dicey", sway, etc., towing through the mountains so we purchased a 2001 Ford F650. It hauls much better now.

We love our Raptor. We stay in it often with our 3 kids and really enjoy all of the extra room!

Have fun!
