Mods to my 2018 Premier 30RIPR
Hello! Picked up a new Premier after enjoying our last Premier for 6 years in October. Already did a few modifications.
1. Added a drawer under the bed, right outside the bathroom to hold towels.
2. Added a drawer under the stove. Was previously a blank panel.
3. Added a Vortex fan and the “RV Chandelier” to the vent. There was no power so I added power to the vent area. Also put the light on a dimmer.
4. Added an LED porch light/scare light combo. It glows a soft yellow for porch or a very bright white for a flood or scare light.
5. Added a clear window in place of the frosted one from the factory.
6. Replaced the white light fixture with a softer linen shade style light over the table.
7. Added shelves in the wardrobes.
8. Added a light in the outdoor entertainment. You can also see the Steadyfast stabilizer bars added to the stabilizers in the last photo.

3. RV chandlier-where did you get that, part number and where did you put the dimmer switch? I like this mod!
4. Which scare light did you use? Is it motion detectable?
Really nice mods and great job on them.

The RV Chandelier was from Amazon, but have seen it at a few RV parts/accessory stores. Placed the dimmer in the ceiling with the wiring, it is a WiFi dimmer so it does not need line of sight to work.
The scare light may have been Camco, purchased it at Camping World. It is not motion detectable, I used a three way switch.

What do you think about the vortex fan? I can’t decide between that or the maxxair?

It’s pretty decent. Never had a Maxxair so I can not compare. It is much better than the stock bathroom fan.
One advantage of the Vortex is you can install it in your existing vent easily, no need to mess with the roof seal and caulking.

Thanks! It was very easy to do. It’s a kit from Edwin. Basically just unscrew the inside trim ring, pull out the existing window, place the new window in and screw in the new trim ring that they supply. It has its own seal so no need for caulking. A second person to help hold the window would make it easier to do.

I second the second person for the window job. Much better than duct tape and hoping it stays in place until you can get a screw or two into place.

I ran a wire from the vent location, through the ceiling to above the corner glass cabinet. I made a small hole in the ceiling in the cabinet towards the corner. I ran the wires down through the cabinet to the bottom. Under that cabinet is the converter and tapped into 12v wiring there.

My compliments
Just picked up our 30RIPR this weekend. I really like your ideas. Thanks for sharing. We are for sure going to look into the added drawers.

I did another mod yesterday and today. Since it is winter and there are no trips until April, it is mod season!
I added a vent to the range hood. Instead of it recirculating, it now vents to the outside. Other than building up the nerve to cut a hole in the side of the camper, it was relatively easy and inexpensive.

How did you go about putting the drawer under the bed? Did it open from the top to begin with or was the bed screwed down? In my old camper it lifted for storage but in my new 333MKS it is screwed down. The drawer would be a great idea for storage.

it did open from the top and there is nothing under the bed, the storage space was empty. If yours is screwed down it may mean that there is a holding tank or something else underneath.

No holding tank, just rails for the slide. I would have to look to see how much space between the side of the bed and the rails. How did you go about putting in the drawer? Probably easy for someone who knows what they are doing. LOL
