Outback 328RL

I am considering upgrading to a 328, currently have a 26' towable different product. I pull with a 2008 250 diesel 6.4 L great vehicle not a duelly. I do not want to buy an upgraded truck but am concerned about towing the 328. I know the dry wt of camper and the diesel pulling weight. Just looking for input from anyone pulling a 328 and what they might be pulling with.

If you want true numbers pay NO attention to the RV dry weight, it means absolutely nothing to you or anyone else once it left the factory. Use the gross RV weight printed on the manufacturer tag on the drivers side front corner to figure pin/hitch weights, typically 10-15% for TTs, 20-25% for 5th wheels.
As for the truck, the max tow weight most likely will never be met, you'll exceed the payload long before that. Check the payload & axle weights on the yellow label on the drivers door jamb & compare to the above RV weights.
Truck payload is everything in/on the truck including the hitch, people, pets, tools/toolbox, coolers, etc.
The best way to know for sure is to head to the scales.

The 328RL is a 10,500 gvw trailer. Figure 1260-1350 tongue weight. The truck will pull it fine I'm sure, but, what are the payload/gawr/gvw of the truck? Some of the older trucks had some pretty low payloads. Get a good quality 4 point hitch to pull that size trailer - I use an Equalizer.

The trailer has a floorplan very similar to ours except the kitchen is on the opposite side as ours. We LOVE our floorplan

I pull a 2020 328RL with a 2015 2500HD with the duramax/allison combo and have no issues. Pulls great!! I get about 12-13 MPH with it. We've pulled it to Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and New England.

You should buy a Ford truck as they can safely tow a trailer a lot faster than that!

At 37 feet 6 inches long, I hope you consider a tow vehicle with 6 wheels. If you don't get 6 wheels, you definitely will need a hitch system that has some pretty magnificent sway control built in. That is a long trailer for only 4 wheels pulling it.
