New Travel Trailer Pick Up Tomorrow
Hello everyone
We are picking up our new Keystone Bullet Crossfire 1900RD tomorrow. First time RV owners. Any tips/suggestions on what to bring up to the dealer after their walk through!
Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forum!!
Congrats on your new purchase. You should look for the PDI checklist and print it out. Use it as a guide during your walkthrough. If you find anything wrong, either have it dealt with before taking delivery or get a “due bill” in writing stating the issue and expected repair. Other than that, take it out and use it!!!

Print this pre delivery inspection checklist, take it with you and review it with the dealer prior to taking possession;

I agree with above, tests everything, twice. Open every door, take out the drawers and look behind them for debris and poor wiring. Don’t miss anything on that list. Test it with the power plugged in, then test it again with just batteries. You don’t want to need to take it back next month to get stuff explained or fixed. Before delivery they will fix everything in hours, after delivery it could take a month and the next thing you know you missed summer.
Trust us, no detail should go unchecked.

When we picked up our first new travel trailer we spent the night in it at the dealers RV lot. Most dealers have some area where trailers can be completely hooked up.
We brought out own towels, linens, clothes and some food (in an ice chest). We used "everything" in that trailer. Heating, cooling stove, oven, shower, microwave, refer,TV,all plugs ect...
Had to replace the microwave the next morning. The dealer rolled up with a new one in the box, installed it and we signed the papers and were on our way.
Being my first RV it was great to shown the correct way to hookup everything and have someone nearby for questions.
If it's not too late to plan for this, give it a thought.

We are first timers too. Got lucky and found a very good dealer and a used/unused 2016 Hideout. First weekend with it was great.
Let's see, since we are new too I'll tell you what I think I have learned.
1). Check to roof often. Make sure all the calking is not cracked and check for holes in your rubber roof. Water leaks can quickly ruin a nice camper.
2) Turn off the water when you leave.
3). put a pressure regulator on your water supply.
Have all the adopters for power, 50 to 30. 30 to 115.
Have fun,
Don

Are you still happy with the bullet? We are looking at a larger model but curious if you are still happy. Thanks in advance. Glen

Congrats! With a trailer that size, you will find a lot more available camp spots. Before I acquired our Bullet 248RKS (not yet made her maiden voyage) we had a Jayco 195RB (About 23 feet), but Kathy said she had to have a slide for more room. The Bullet is 29 feet long and it will be more of a challenge.

A "must have" for ALL RVs is a good surge protector/EMS, hardwired or portable, to protect all the electronics.
