Tire/HUB Temperature Issues - I'm stumped

Background - I recently got a TST TPMS after replacing wheel bearings on all four wheels of my 2017 low-mileage 21RBS Cougar. I bought this trailer late in 2018.
On an initial test drive, I noted one wheel (back passenger side) temperature elevated about 20 degrees above the others at 95 degrees F. Confirmed it was hot to touch. I pulled the hub, bearings all ok but brake seemed to be dragging slightly. (I had adjusted all brakes during bearing replacement.) After backing the adjusting nut on the brake out a few turns, everything worked great on another test drive. All wheels the same, and about 5-6 degrees above ambient.

Current trip - After about 3 hours, the "other tire" on the passenger side starting increasing temperature above the average of the others (~80 degrees F) It got up to about 91 F, and was hotter to the touch compared to the others. I have backed of its brake adjuster a few clicks to see if that helps.

I have never had a TPMS before, so maybe I am watching it too closely. On the other hand, could the brakes be occasionally dragging after use during normal driving. I checked all of the springs and braking mechanism while apart and it looked fine.

Should I be worried, or just continue to monitor and let the brakes and bearings wear in for awhile? Really don't want to get back into the bearings unless I have to.

Two other possible factors to consider are...
.. doesnside running hotter have more weight than other side of RV
.. the tires that are getting sunny side while towing will run about 10 degrees or so hotter and air prsssure will of course be higher on the sunny side

Been running TPMS since 2001.

I'm new to trailer TPMS also and have a question regarding its temperature sensing capability: how does the unit extrapolate to the internal tire pressure, and how much does ambient temperature affect its determination of internal air temperature? (OK, so that’s two questions!) I am curious as on our recent trip the tire temperatures did not go up as much as I expected, given the rise in pressure. I know pressure is easy to determine, but I just don’t know how “mixed” the heated air inside the tire and valve stem is.

I asked this question of the manufacturer when I returned a defective unit (under warranty) but have not received a reply.

Thanks.

The tires if traveling in direct sun will always be hotter than the opposite side. How much depends on air temp.
Because you or a shop had the bearings worked on, I would check that out first.
Make sure the hub nut is not overly tight. That and a dragging brake or not enough grease will give higher temps.
I expect your tires are all at max psi cold. So, than with all else looked at maybe weight each wheel and see if it has a heavier load than the others to explain the higher temp.
I had repacked 4 wheels on my boat trailer and test drove it. Used a laser to check hubs and 1 was about 60 degrees above all else. It had a dragging brake pad.
