Looks good but I haven't heard anything about that brand. I will mention though that I just purchased a GPS with a 7" screen and its huge so you if you have a GPS and/or tire monitor, consider how much dash/windshield they all take up...might have to look for a smaller screen model.

I thought about that 7" size also. My Garmin is stuck to the lower left of my windshield still thinking about getting TPMS.
My plan was to velcro it to my rearview mirror since it is useless while towing. Also that is the place your eyes normally gravitate to while driving without a TT behind you to watch following vehicles.

Not sure how your mirror is attached but make sure the extra weight won't pull it off...

That looks a lot like a "rebranded" Lifan. They sell new on Amazon for $249 in the US. From the link, PA is selling reconditioned ones for $299. I haven't heard from the one member who has a 1000 watt generator whether it would power his converter/charger or not. I know that mine would bog down and stall if I plugged it into our Cougar. Even with the refrigerator on propane and all the circuit breakers turned off (except the converter) ours wasn't strong enough to supply the initial wattage required by the converter.
You might want to do some research about whether it will power your converter to recharge your batteries before you spend the money. For us, it was a good intention that just didn't work out. I went ahead and bought Champion 2000 watt inverter generators and never had another problem keeping the batteries charged.

Thanks John. Running the converter is all I would be trying to do with it. I never thought that it would not have enough amps at 8.3. Where would I find what the converter draws for amps ?

The WFCO converter/charger initially starts charging the battery at "full capacity" and then "floats" the charge based on the battery condition. So, if your battery bank is "almost depleted" the converter will draw more AC power to convert it to DC power to recharge the batteries. Conversely, if your batteries are fully charged and you plug in a generator, after the initial "power on sequence" the converter might only draw an amp or so (of AC power) to convert it to DC for the trailer electrical system. On my Cougar, my converter initial draw was more than the 1000 watt generator could provide and I could never get it to run long enough to get past the "plug in/bog down" stage.
Some people can get a 1000 watt generator to work, others can't, so you might be able to use it, then again, maybe your trailer will do as mine and need more power to get things started.

I know I am being lazy by posting this question here instead of doing my own research but here goes.
Spring has finally arrived and the mounds of snow are melting. We will start our camping adventure in May. My wife and I are going through the trailer and assembling all of our old camping gear and getting some new stuff.
Once we are set-up at a site we usually do all of our cooking and eating on the picnic table that usually comes with all sites. We thought a small table that fits to the side of the TT under the awning would be a nice addition for us.
Any thoughts on where to look for one or should I just make my own ?

We carry an aluminum "rollup" table with us to use under the awning. Aluminum so it won't melt if we decide to use the grill or a hot plate on it and rollup so it stores easily in little space. If you decide on one similar to this, be sure that the legs are adjustable. Seldom will you find a campsite that is "level enough to use a table" without having to find a rock or chock to put under one or more legs so it's sturdy and doesn't rock or wobble.

I use one of those 6' Lifetime plastic folding tables you can get at Walmart for around $50. If I need to put anything warm/hot on the table I just put a large cutting board under it.

It would almost be worth your while to plan a quick camping trip to the US, order your tires at WalMart, have them installed while you're here, order a table with 2 day delivery and make sure you get your infra-red thermometer while here, too..... It's one thing to have the exchange rate difference, but to double the price to boot ???? Sheesh !!!

That markup is quite normal for .ca. .com usually will not ship to Canada. I have a drop mailbox at Sweetgrass MT that I get stuff delivered to if I really need it. In the summer I just ride the Goldwing down and pick it up. Be surprised how much stuff you can get on a Wing. I should put a hitch on the Wing and have a small utility trailer for the big stuff.
I am going for a ride anyways so it is no skin off my back. When I come back into Canada and they ask me how long I have been in the US you sometimes get a funny look when you say, 30 minutes. Some stuff you can't get shipped to Canada and some stuff is just so cheap you can't rationalize buying in Canada.
