2018 Keystone Passport stove question

Last night a friend of mine who is a seasoned rv'er came over to walk me through a few things and we bled the propane system out and fired up the outdoor stove. On both indoor and outdoor stoves the knobs are marked with a "lite" then of course a high, med. and low. We both couldn't see, hear or feel any igniter like on a common outdoor grill, are they just universal knobs and lite by a match?

Mine is just the gas setting to light with a match. No striker available.

My Passport Elite has the same knobs and during my PDI they said you manually lite it. I keep a stick lighter in my cupboard

Our Atwood stove has a rotary knob for the igniter. You didn't mention what model grill you're using, but, our NexGril has the igniter function built into the burner knobs. When I rotate the knob from 'off' to 'lite' the igniter fires.
