Where to buy luan?

I have my TV mount set up the way I want it now and so function is complete. I would now like to improve the form by enclosing some of the workings in a luan box to hide the workings. I'd like something with a pattern close to what is in my 23MLE. Or at least maybe some wall paper that would look ok.

Is it possible to get this from Keystone or maybe Camping World would have it?

Talk to your RV dealership service/parts department. They can order a sheet of luan to match your wall covering luan from Keystone and have it placed in the next trailer from the factory that is scheduled for delivery to the dealership. That way you "avoid the shipping charges" and it will be much, MUCH cheaper.

Keystone will not sell to the public and Trekwood will "KILL YOU" in shipping charges for such an "outsized shipment" which will require delivery by freight truck.

About your only "reasonable source for a large sheet of luan wallboard" is going to be your dealership.

Don't delay talking with your RV parts department. The 2024 trailers are out and the "contract bidding to purchase from the lowest bidder" will likely cause a change in far east lumber mill suppliers, so the supplier may well change and that will probably create a slightly different color pattern or vinyl overlay difference between what is in your trailer and what the factory has in stock.....

So, get it now or you may not be able to find it in a month when all the old stuff is used up and Keystone starts using the new stock.....

Remember that price from Trekwood does not include shipping. Freight charges will be as much or more than the $131 price of the panel, then you'll also need to add the charges for Trekwood to build the shipping crate to protect your sheet of luan during transportation. That will probably be double the price of the actual luan panel.

Don't be surprised if Trekwood quotes a "delivered to your door price" for that single luan sheet to be somewhere in the $400+ price range.....

Home Depot or possibly Lowe's sells it. Sometimes called 1/8" utility panel or door skin plywood. Comes in 1/8" x 4' x 8' sheets. $15.58 per sheet per the HD web site.

HD and Lowe's should sell it. I don't know what your trying to match but if it's wood luan is pretty easy to work with. The kinds I've used are somewhat darker in color.

You will find luan at Home Depot and other lumber yards, but none of them will have the plastic overlay that you have on your walls, just not going to happen. You will be better off just using good plywood and painting it a color that will work with whatever your walls are colored.
