Smile Happy Thankgiving everyone

As Thanksgiving draws near I just wanted to say thank you to all on this list who have gone out of their way to be helpful this last year. Owning an RV is a big deal and there are obviously way more things to think about than just the "pride of ownership."

This list, and most especially John & Sourdough, have really made a difference.

So... To EVERYONE on the List

Have a GREAT Thanksgiving, and remember what it is we need to be Thankful for.

Oak, thank you so much. I just typed a lot of "stuff" as I can do but not appropriate at this time. I belong to many forums but this forum is the best. It has the friendliest (I think I'm probably the curmudgeon ), most knowledgeable, and more importantly, the most willing folks I've ever seen to share their knowledge.

It is a time for Thanksgiving; this forum and those that I view as friends, family, the blessings we've been given. It is a time of turmoil for our country - but we each have to give thanks for what we have and pray for those that we elect to lead us. But, as "in our faces" as the display going on in Washington is....my wife survived cancer; I went from a 16 year old getting married (to the same woman now) to someone that has to worry for nothing; my son is coming to FL for the first time to be with us (wants oysters in the shell and shrimp head on ), my daughter just survived contracting full blown tetanus and survived; I could go on but we all are blessed in many ways.

As Oak pointed out, I have many, many blessings that have been bestowed upon me but one of them is this forum, the members and their willingness to share their adventures/misadventures to all so that we can all learn together and hopefully dodge some of the pitfalls others have encountered. Happy Thanksgiving from Susan and I.

Edit: Sorry if that seems over the top, just got back from DD and my DGDs right before I posted....

Thanks Oak!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well.
BTW "Oak" was my dad's nickname throughout his career in the military and civil service.
Many things to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving to All

A little belated but, Oak thanks for starting this thread, and thank you to the rest of you of the forum for educating me.
