Cable slides manual dry run

Did A manuel dry run on my cable slide just to see how the operation works. I used a 90 degree offset ele. drill in a number two square bit (#two) along with the Flex extension from Keystone. Seems to work all right except the dealer hard the wrong bit in my extension. Will always be a test dummy for Keystone!!!!!!

The extensions come from the factory with Roberts head #2 bits installed. Unless someone at that dealership needed it more than you, maybe it's just a very tight fit.

If the remote does other functions. Set it to something different and then try the slide switch on the wall.

I had my slides quit working from the panel and they would only work from the remote. Then I forgot, used the panel and they worked again. Saved me the over $800 circuit board replacement quoted by my dealer, or the $500 direct from Keystone or the $400 direct from Lippert. I love the internet!
As for the OP, I need to try the manual dry run as a motor could fail. Thanks for the reminder.
