Typically, if there is a fan in the roof vent, it will have wiring installed. If the trailer does not have a fan in that vent from the factory, there won't be power at that roof vent. Often you can find "uninterrupted power" in a wiring run near the vent and branch off from there. Using a "switchable light" for power will mean that light must remain on while your new vent fan is being used. If the existing light has a switch on the light, you can use that switch to turn the light off. Otherwise, you may need to install a different overhead light at that location so you can turn the light off.
Also, remember that ROMEX in the roof will carry 120VAC and the "single run wires" are typically 12VDC.
