Thumbs up New member, New to me Passport

Hi, New member with new to me (and Wifey) 2021 Keystone Passport 199MLWE. Not new to camping, grew up tent camping, have had 2 truck campers, and last couple years renting travel trailers on various websites. Been on a shakedown overnight, no issues found. Been making it ours with mattress upgrade, backsplash, storage mods, and bath faucet (couldn't get my hands under it!) will go to local campsites a few times before a weeklong tour of north central and north east Washington State. Retired and ready to Travel!!

Also, did the A/C box foam mod. Helped airflow and definitely helped quiet it down. Repainted back bumper and other small metal spots that had started to degrade. Restapled some trim and ceiling that had come slightly loose, normal stuff. Plans include at least 1 solar panel for the 2 batteries, better speakers in & out, and Lippert solid steps, already added larger door handle. Prob get a better shower head. Any ideas or additions are welcome!

Welcome to the forum

Congrats on your new to you purchase. My only advice regarding the solid steps is make sure you have clearance to open them.

Welcome and thanks for joining the forum. The first upgrade we made soon after purchasing our RV was changing to G rated tires. You probably don’t need G rated tires, but I would check to make sure the tires are adequate for the GVWR for the Passport. A blowout can definitely ruin a trip. We changed out our bathroom faucet early on for the same reason as you.

Welcome from Utah!
Sounds like you're ready to rock and roll
Now that your retirement training is complete, take a swing down south and visit some "Color Country"

Actually doing a car road trip from E Washington to Denver soon. Meeting daughter & family there and then driving to Custer SD to see my 92 yr old mom who lives 7 miles out across the road from Crazy Horse. Trying to plan a run thru the Arches for a preview of future RV trip (next spring) when we are better at this and have solar. (Firman Dual Fuel gen on its way)

Solar works great out here. Firman will be needed for A/C unless you camp with hook ups. Much more to see around Moab including Arches. Let me know if you'd like any suggestions

DIY A/c box foam board mod: Can also buy off web RV AIrflow Systems. Little spendy for a piece of foam...so did DIY. Better airflow (Thru vents) and quieter, does delete the cold air dump.
