You can also insert a photo by:
Copy the url of your photo.
Select the square that looks like a postcard in the reply box.
Paste your url.

Be sure when doing it either way that your photo is sized properly.

note that the above copy/paste URL assumes the photo is on a web-hosted site somewhere ... it will not work with a photo on your local computer.

Pictures Attachment

I'm probably making this harder than what it really is but when I click on the paper clip it gives me two options. Upload from computer or upload from URL. I thought the purpose of having an album was to upload from there??? Maybe not, If I have some pictures that I want to share do other members go to my album or what am I missing to attach them to a post or thread? I can go back to my pictures and find them there if necessary.

Put your pictures in an online service like PhotoBucket.

If you use Photobucket, do this. Once they are there, hover your mouse over the one you want to place here and you will get a small box with some choices like Email & IM, Image Code, and Image Thumb. Put your cursor on the word Image Code and left click. That will copy the image code.

Then come back here to the message editor. Place your cursor where you want the pic, right click and select Paste.

What you should get is text that reads: [img]full url of image location and file name[/img]

Here is another way to do the same thing. If you hover your cursor over the pic of my truck and trailer in my signature and then right click, one of the choices you will get is Copy Image Location. You can do this with any pic on the net. Then you just have to paste it inbetween [img][/img] and you are all set. Kind of like this:

Alternately, you can just get the full url of the location and file name and then paste that into the little window you get in the message editor when you select the little postcard icon.

Pics in forums are best when they are no larger than 640x480. Services like Photobucket let you edit your photos, and one of the edit choices is to resize the pic. Here is a good example of a properly sized pic:

You could also use the go advanced feature and then scroll down to attachments and upload a pic right from your pc. If you the size of pics meets allowable upload size, it will work. Or you will have resize your pic or use file share site. Maybe owner site may increase upload size at some point too.

Some time ago, I sent in a request on behalf of another member to our forum administrator to see if the file space could be increased. No word on that as yet.

Nope, but looking at your link you bungled up the "img" code, meaning you have the "img" tags all over within your brackets "[ ]".
Also, you can do preview before submitting. Preview will do exactly what it supposed to - preview how it would look in an actual post.

I cleaned your code and previewed; it looked good so I posted.

The code should look like what I have in the code line below with the last img missing the "/" so it shows in code. That code tag is "/IMG":

Code:
