New guy with 2017 Cougar 326RDS

Howdy...Does anybody know if the 2017Cougar 326RDS "pre wired" for a backup camera gets power off the running lights? I've looked through a bunch of threads but want to verify before I buy a Furrion FOS48 backup/observation unit.

Welcome to the forum from Southern MD. I don't have an answer for you but someone will chime in. In the mean time enjoy that rig.

We don't sell that model but I can say if the case for the camera is mounted on the rear wall then the most common place to get power is the center running light. IF your trailer has beck up lights then it might be on the reverse circuit, but that's not common.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome but not enjoying now. Camper in the shop as cable doesn't work through the camper but does if hooked directly to the TV. Also need a theatre seat adjusted & to make the outside speakers work

I had same cable issue. They had to install I different hook up at the back of my unit. Back where the tv is. Now I hook my sat cable there and all is good. They tried to charge me for it but I told them to pound sand it is only 3 days old. And they agreed so be strong if they tell you you owe them to fix this

Thanks Aab

Guess it might not be a unusual problem. I also have a TV in the bedroom & a hookup in the front storage. I won't be satisfied till all work so wish me luck. It might be a couple more weeks till I get it back.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry - Can't answer your questions. Minor problems I work with the dealer. Major problems I contact the manufacture first and then the dealer. Worked for the last fifth wheel (not a Keystone but was a Thor brand).
