TV Wall Mount

Need to get to the back of the TV in my new Sprinter 3341 FWFLS. Anyone know how to get it off the wall? It’s mounted in the front of the camper (over the hitch). I need to get an HDMI cable connected. If anyone has a tip to do that without taking the TV down, I’d like to hear it. Thanks!

I have a 334 FWFLS probably the same mount. I just grabbed the bottom pulled straight up, then pull the TV toward you. I have heard some people say it was in tight but mine came out easy. Could be because one mount bolt was missing.

I was literally just trying to do this last night in my new 3530FWDEN. Thanks for the tip on pulling up first. Gonna give it a try.

Did you give it a try?? Mine is in storage but I’m very curious to know if pulling up on the tv will release it.

Funny cause we’re getting ours ready Sunday for a two week Fourth of July trip.

Hey one thing I wanted to know.... my master bedroom in our Sprinter 3530FWDEN has a spot for a large tv over the dresser. I went to install a mount for a TV but for the life of me cant find a backing plate. I used a stud finder too but couldn’t even find a stud. So weird.

Here are photos of the tv and mount in my RV hope it helps. You can see the bolt and bushing is missing in the TV. It was done under warranty but I won't go into that.

Okay so today was “interesting” and not very productive. I did get my tv off the wall but it was on TIGHT!!! Found other issues while putting it back on but going to start a new post about that. Thanks for pictures and making the job easier. I also removed my soundbar..... another fun experience.

Everything worked exactly as everyone posted. The TV came off the wall easily and all my posts were there. The most difficult part was repositioning the posts to align with the brackets. Surely it is easier with two people! Thanks for all the help!!

Happy camping!

I just installed a tv mount in the bedroom of our carbon. There's a sticker on the wall indicating where the backing plate is. It isn't a complete lie, there is a backing plate there, but it isn't very big, and it sure as hell isn't square/rectangular (as I found out the hard way while drilling holes for the mount). I bet they just grab whatever irregularly shaped scrap pieces they have lying around and stick 'em in there!

just installed tv mount in 2018 2520 passport, I was a little concerned at first, but all 4 lags found back board. Hopefully you have enough support to secure your tv, I hate iffy situations. Good luck.

thanks, yeah it should be fine, it's a pretty small mount (the tv is only 32") and I did manage (barely) to get both lag bolts into the back board (after relocating it and leaving behind a couple of extra holes )

Not sure who you’re asking but...
I just got the 3530 Rear Den model. This is my 4th camper and first Keystone. Honestly, I feel like they are all the same but there are things I like about Keystone and some of their attention to detail. Every new rig is going to have it’s share of excess sawdust, etc floating around for a while. I guess it’s that I’m immune to it at this point. At the end of the day, I bought our new unit because we needed the space, we full hook up 95% of the time and while the Forest River Toy Hauler was sweet, it just didn’t fit our life any longer. My .02.

Very happy so far with my Keystone, although its still VERY new lol.

Try Amazon.com. That's where I found one for our 19" tv in our ElkRidge.
