Henry’s Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Coating

Our roof is in pretty bad shape with surface cracking across the entire expanse of the membrane. We don’t see evidence of water getting inside the coach yet but it looks like just a matter of time.

I am going to have all of the roof seams and penetrations resealed. There are obvious cracks that are probably starting to let water in. The RV tech also recommended prepping the roof membrane and coating with this Tropi-Cool product.

I’ve never seen this product mentioned in the forum. My concerns are cost, how long it will last and ability to recoat when the time comes. If you are familiar with or have used this product, please let me know what you think about it.

I have used it on a few customers units. It seems like a nice product and recoat seems to be at about 3-5 years.

I did mine with Henry's Tropi-Cool. Close to a year now and still looks good. I like the fact I could do it myself. I also heard good reviews from other sources.

Thanks very much for your comments. The slim number of replies leads me to believe this is not a widely used product, but it’s certainly cheaper than a roof replacement or the damage that may result from doing nothing. Think I’ll give it a try. Thanks again.

Thanks for posting the video. I went straight to the forum with my question and didn’t even think to look on YouTube. It is a very good presentation of the product.
