TRX Suspension Trainer

I’ve got a 2016 Cougar and bought a TRX suspension trainer to use when we go away. This week I don’t have any trees near us. Any advice on if the roof ladder will be strong enough to use as an anchor point? I’m about 190 and wife and kids are anywhere from 105-140.. The TRX uses body weight to perform a workout but needs to be anchored. I’m just nervous about pulling the ladder away from the wall or something like tha

I wouldn't do it personally. I have a hard time keeping all the attachment points tight and snug and don't do anything like that.....just the occasional tech climbing to the roof a couple of times a year and traveling. If you look at it, they aren't that stout, don't have enough attachment points etc. I'm afraid constant pulling on it would definitely present you with problems right then and further down the road.

^^^ +1 for Danny.

At 230# & 6'4", I won't climb it, never mind doing stressful exercising on it.

If you are at a campground, see if they have a weight / exercise area.

Good Luck,

Look for an open tree in a common area and use that. I wouldn't use the ladder for the same reasons given above.

Thanks for the replies, confirmed what I was thinking, but I wanted to check before abandoning idea and finding another spot.
