As I've said before, not all the blame should go to the guy driving those overloaded trucks, the manufacturers advertise them as "tow anything", "tough tow vehicles", 10k lb rvs advertised as "half ton towable", post useless "dry weights" that are usually way under actuals, equally as useless "max tow ratings" that can't be done due to light payloads & most rv/truck salesman know even less, or nothing at all, about weights than the guy buying them. You must do your own homework!

Basically, ....you need to check your specific weight & towing recommendations for your year and truck configuration-period.
What's nice about the Ford EcoBoost is that it has a diesel like powerband and works well in higher elevations-BUT, again it can be overloaded.
Tundras are fairly good because of their 4:30 rearend and decent HP/Torq.....I suspect.
Sometimes you don't have the luxury of purchasing your TT first, in that case you need to choose a trailer that you'll need to compromise on size and amenities and stay within your trucks manufacturers towing guide lines.
You can always change towing vehicles and or trailer down the line.

And advertising that they are "flushable" is about as accurate as "1/2 ton towable" 5 th wheel.

All they need to do is raise the hitch about 2 feet, add another 100 pounds of air to the back tires, and close off traffic to the roads he plans to use. That should limit the damage to $70,000.

Maybe some of these smaller, lighter, super powered, little tow vehicles will start coming with a Built-in butt wipe Box holder in the cab. Now that would be a needed accessory!
