Anyone hear build date for 2013 Cougar 32 SAB???
We ordered our 32 SAB and our dealer was told the build date was April 19. Evidently, Keystone had issues with the prototype and the build date was moved to sometime in May. Be nice to know when - even approximately - but not a huge deal I guess. Dealer confirmed it would be a 2013...so that's cool.
We have a 199 ML now and we're looking forward to the extra space. We have 3 outings scheduled in May and would be great to use the new coach.
Anyone heard anything about the build date(s) for the Cougar 32 SAB?

I'm hearing pretty much the same. My dealer said it woul be done, early next week. Don't know yet, if that means done at the factory, or, delivered to the dealer. The factory is only four hours away.
Ordered mine on March 21st. Don't know if that was before, or, after yours.

You might want to get ahold of your dealer ASAP !!! The trailer you are expecting in a week or so, is not the floor plan you are expecting.
I also, have a 2013 model on order. It was / is scheduled to come off the production line on the 16th.
This morning, I was looking at Keystone's website and noticed the floor plan did not match for Cougar 32SAB. I called the dealer and had them look online at same time I was looking. They concurred the floor plan was different from the brochure and called Keystone to find out what is going on.
I just got off the phone with a district sales rep from Cougar. He told me, the 32SAB's coming off production line on the 16th, are same floor plan as the 2012's. They do not have a bedroom slide. Apparently, the prototype (with bedroom slide) did not work and the engineers scrapped that floor plan without notifying marketing. He somewhat explained how the new floor plan will be laid out, but, as of an hour ago, he did not have a copy of what the new 32SAB will look like, and they will not be building them until mid June. He promised to get me a copy of the (new) floor plan on Monday morning.
Our search for a new trailer, lasted October until March, when we ordered the 32SAB. Now, looks like we are starting over.

32 SAB Delayed - New TT Selected
Heard Friday that the 32 SAB was delayed.....they couldn't get the new wardrobe slide working correctly. THANK YOU to this forum and all those who are interested in sharing and helping others here.
In that vain, we've decided to downsize our upgrade from a 35' 32 SAB to a 32' 29REV. The Cougar 29REV is 32' stem to stern....29' box. Dry Weight is 6790, published hitch weight is 620. Will probably wind up with a hitch weight of 900 to 950. Assuming the Hensley puts 20% of this back to the trailer, that's 720 to 760. With my wife and I, 2 bikes, and some "stuff" (nothing heavy), that's leaves us 170 to 210 lb under total payload. Will be towing with a 2012 Tundra 5.7L V8 Double Cab...standard bed with Hensley hitch.
While I've fallen in love with a 2500HD Duramax long bed......I think I'll hold off on spending another $20,000+ for a new truck.
Am thinking the shorter/lighter TT will be a better match for the Tundra.
